After reviewing several products and websites, my husband and I decided to purchase the DKR1100ST Gate opener. We had a double gate but wanted to change it to a sliding gate, and this was the perfect match to pull the weight of the gate. We had a situation where the motor stopped working, but we called Topens company. Joyce, in customer service, was very friendly and professional. She repeatedly assisted us with whatever help we needed. We also needed new tracks since two were wearing down, and we received new ones in the mail in no time at no extra cost. The DKR1100ST Gate opener is a good machine that works quietly. This machine operates with a solar panel and two V12 batteries. Batteries were not included with the machine, but they were not expensive. You can get them at any battery store or hardware store. The warranty is for two years; we did not ask if the warranty could be extended. We highly recommend this product and will purchase it from Topens again if needed. Great product, great company.

Before I purchased the DKR1100ST I reviewed several products and websites. You have two option really expensive or built cheap. With Topens gate opener you get a great product with a great warranty option. I bought two of the DKR1100ST units . They come with 120v operating and 24volt Solar ans a backup. ( note- batteries not included in kit). I have one unit on 120v with the solar backup and the second unit is running on 24v solar only. Speed and performance are equal. During the install I did run into an issue. The customer service team are quick to resolve . Very quick response and will to help you so you are 100% satisfied. I will buy this product again on my next project.
