We absolutely love our gate opener. It is constructed very well, and I believe it will stand the test of time out in the weather. I've tried a different brand years ago, that didn't even last a year due to being cheaply made, but that doesn't seem to apply to the Topens gate opener. It's easy to install and program.
Had a board that was acting up. Worked through testing with tech support. The board was out of warranty but they provided a new one a a great discount and the issue was resolved. Great folks to work with. Will always be a customer!

For the money they work great! If you have a heavy gate then I would get the ck2500 and not the ck1200.

ERM12 Gate Opener Universal External Receiver and Remote Control Kit I have not be successful with the ERM12 operating my A8131 gate opener.
This is a great gate opener, its compact, powerful and very nice looking. It was easy to install and the perfect product for my application out on my property. I hope to get years of service out of this gate opener. Get this product, you won't regret it. The only regret I have is that I should have bought this one first before my other gate opener that died in a very short time.
