I ordered this gate opener and had it drop shipped to Guam since they would not ship it directly to me. I hired a contractor to installed the rails, gate opener and solar array. I'm extremely happy with the results and highly recommend the Topens gate opener. Works like a charm!

This has been a great product until recently. I’m starting to have issues with the locking mechanism releasing (I believe) due to the wind blowing against the gate and causing the pin to become lodged behind the lock. I’m able to manually pull the gate to allow the lock to release prior to the gate opening. This could be prevented if the locking device was made out of a solid square piece of material. This would allow the pin to rest securely behind the lock and allow a smooth cycle of the lock without it being put in a bind. That being said, no wind, no problem.

Just programmed these two yesterday; it was a breeze. FYI: I bought two on amazon which were NOT Topens, did did not work and wasted tons of my time, they were garage. The way to tell is they fid not blind "blue" & the take a different batttery than the Topens real . I fiund out the hard way from the excellent support I received from Topens...

Well packaged, well made. Works great. Has plenty of power for my 16ft gate.
The wind blew the gate and sucked the inside of the arm apart. I couldn’t close the gate because the power board controller had failed.topens support was okay,but slow and I had to repeat myself many times,and they are 12 hours off our time zone,I suspect a little AI generated replies.

My gate opener stopped working one morning and after doing a visual and checking power I found no issue. I contacted the customer support team and they responded quickly and Zack gave some trouble shooting task. After following the trouble shooting task it was determined my board was the issue. I purchased another board ( as mine was out of warranty ) and once installed the gate functions as it should. I would highly recommend topens and the support is great.
