A quality product, and fairly straightforward installation. Installed the power supply and control box inside of a 20"x16"x6" Vevor electrical enclosure box from Home Depot, which worked well (a bit more weatherproofing, and a cleaner look). Was able to program the remotes, despite the instructions being a bit ambiguous: "... press the key on the remote two times in 2 seconds, between the two times HOLD ON FOR A MOMENT..." Was 'HOLD ON' supposed to mean wait, or hold on a button, and if so which button? Overall a great product.

Bought this opener mostly because of the reviews and the remarks about customer service. Every manufacturer has issues with their products at one time or another. I had an issue with my push button. Nancy at Topens was all over it making sure I got a replacement and continued to follow up till she was convinced I was satisfied. Don’t hesitate to purchase from them!

This unit was easy to install and the instruction manual is top notch. It is working great. The remotes are really easy to program. I set up 4 remotes in 20 seconds. thx

I purchased a single swing gate opener (model A5) for a Christmas present. The unit worked well for about 6 months, and then suddenly failed to respond.
An email to tech support determined that it was part of the power supply that we weren't using (12 volt battery backup circuit).
Following the clear instructions from Jessica in Tech support, I was able to bypass that section of the power supply and solve the problem.
I was offered the option to return the power supply for replacement, or some extra remotes for the inconvenience. We chose the extra remotes.
We were pleased with the interaction and outcome.

A5131 gate opener can be powered by 100-240VAC electricity or by 24V 12Ah Automotive / Marine type battery (NOT incl.). You can use AC power, or 24V 20W solar panel (sold separately), or both at the same time to charge the battery with the UPS01 uninterrupted power supply that comes with the package.
Electromagnetism Limit
Reliable electromagnetism limit switch is easy to adjust. The gate will automatically stop at your desired position with this technology.
Intelligent Control Board
Safety features can be adjusted easily and quickly on the control board, include photocell sensor function, auto-close time, open / close delay, soft stop time, and stall force.

Customize your gate access by adding additional accessories. This swing gate operator is compatible with all the TOPENS accessories.

TOPENS Remote Control
The operation range of the M12 Remote Control is 65ft. (20m). Max. 8 remote controls can pair with one gate opener directly, and up to 250 remotes will be supported with the TOPENS ERM12 External Receiver that is sold separately.
SWING RATING
● A5131 gate opener works well for the single swing gate up to a maximum of 16ft. in length (correspondingly 100lbs. in weight).
● Suitable for the swing gate up to a maximum of weight of 550lbs (correspondingly 4ft. in length).
● Kindly note that the max. gate length capability is inversely proportional to the gate weight.
