TC188 Universal Wireless Gate Opener Keypad

I installed my gate almost 2 years ago, it had been working great until one arm got bumped by our tractor. No biggie, I ordered a replacement arm on Amazon. Well about 6 months into the replacement arm, it started not working correctly, and wouldn't close or open fully. We noticed this during the heat of summer. I spent some time troubleshooting with tech support, and they determined it was my limit switches. I replaced those, and the problem persisted.
I took the arm apart, and found the magnet to stop the arm with the limit switch was broken in 3 pieces. My conclusion is someone (not very nice) returned their defective arm after purchasing their replacement arm and sent the defective one back for a full refund.
I would suggest purchasing topenes products directly from topens, as my latest replacement arm is working flawlessly, and is much quieter than the old arm was!

I like the remote access device. But it does not have the ablility to tell you wether the gate is open or closed.

The gate opener works great and is easy to install thanks the YouTube installation video. Zack was also very helpful since we did need a replacement part during the installation. The replacement part showed up very quickly and we were able to get the gate working. I love being able to open my gate with the remote and it opens so smoothly.

I have one rigged up so that my Hubitat smart hub can operate the gate. This one was a spare. Weird battery. Have to order an extra just in case. Working fine.

I don't like the app
The app should be made so that it can tell when it's locked or unlocked
You have to open the CCTV to check it
It's inconvenient to have to check the app twice
