I earlier had problems with my sliding gate, but it looks like the problem fixed itself! I guess it could be due to bad weather conditions that possibly compromised the solar power of the sliding gate, but it works great! So, I am generally satisfied with my solar powered sliding gate opener!
Last year we had a gate installed on our property. On the recommendation of a good friend, rather then pay a ridiculous amount for a motor, we choose to go with topens. They are reasonably priced with the big name companies.
After installing we ran into some problems. To make a long story short, it would only open a few inches and them stop. I contacted Topens customer service via email after I tried all that i knew to fix it. To give context I've never worked on these types of motor before.
Nancy, who was my contact with customer service, talked me through every step to fix the problem. I would send her pictures and videos of what was happening and she would send me pictures and videos of how to fix or troubleshoot what was going on. We continued that until the problem was solved.
Honestly I haven't seen this type of exceptional customer service in a long time. I couldn't be happier. Super nice, super professional, and literally talked me through everything exactly how I needed it to be done.
The only downfall to the customer service is it usually takes 24 hours between replies, but that's no fault of the company, the time difference throws it off.
10/10 would recommend this motor and company from my own experience.

We were worried that the DIY installation would be difficult, as some items ordered online do not include good installation instructions. The instructions included with me Topends was clear and understandable step by step! Our gate works perfectly. I will buy another Solar gate opener from Tooens for my other gate as well! Installed the TOPENS sliding gate 10 months ago. Everything has worked great until a recent small issue. Emailed customer support and Chloe was able to help diagnose issue. Chloe mailed a new control board under warranty and gate is back working like new. Great product and great customer support!

Solar Power Supported
Use the included 30W solar panel charging kit to charge the battery. You can add the 24V 12Ah automotive / marine type battery (NOT Incl.) as the main / back-up power source. The solar powered system will operate alone without AC electricity. This gate operator can also be powered by 110-120VAC electricity directly.
Electromagnetism Limit
Reliable electromagnetism limit switch is easy to adjust. The gate will automatically stop at your desired position with this technology.
Intelligent Control Board
Safety features can be adjusted easily and quickly on the control board, include photocell sensor function, auto-close time, midway mode, soft stop time, and stall force.

TOPENS Remote Control
The operation range of the M12 Remote Control is 65ft. (20m). Max. 8 remote controls can pair with one gate opener directly, and up to 250 remotes will be supported with the TOPENS ERM12 External Receiver that is sold separately.
Strong Chain Drive
● The roller chain has gone through strict process for high quality, allowing for the optimum toughness of all component parts, as well as increasing metal fatigue resistance and pre-lubricated for wear resistance.
● The package includes 20ft. roller chain. The length of the chain is adjustable.
● The specification of the chain is #428 (08B). Extra TOPENS 20 Feet Roller Chain is available online.
● Keep the chain from any debris to ensure the smooth operation of the motor. Oil the chain periodically for ultimate performance.
