I have one rigged up so that my Hubitat smart hub can operate the gate. This one was a spare. Weird battery. Have to order an extra just in case. Working fine.

It works well

The app should be made so that it can tell when it's locked or unlocked
You have to open the CCTV to check it
It's inconvenient to have to check the app twice

Great Opener for a Great Price

Using the A8131, this gate looks and operates great. I have a good feeling I am over the weight, but I don't have a clue how much it actually weighs. I am using the 120V main power, with battery and solar backup. I also have the wireless keypad and vehicle exit sensor. I am awaiting a gas dampener to help alleviate the bounce at the end of the travel so I can extend the life of the unit.
Gate is 16' long, 7' tall. Main frame is 2X2x1/8" tube steel, then faced with 3/4" cypress. Using custom made hinges with six 3/4" bearings, mounted to a 6x6x1/4" beam 4' in the ground with 1,200 lbs of concrete to prevent sag.

Installed these on a 20ft aluminum gate paired with a TOPENS motor. I was impressed by build quality and am ecstatic to say they have held up in very different weather types. Would highly recommend!
