TOPENS XD851S Solar Smart Single Swing Gate Opener with App Control

Solar dual swing openers fit the bill perfectly, quality product at a reasonable price!

The part I needed worked perfectly and my gate is back in business.

Haven’t installed it yet but I have used one before

Thanks for your fast delivery. Sad to say, we were unable to program them to work.

I ordered this sliding gate opener because I wanted a convenient way to manage gate access. I like that it offers WiFi app control along with remote controls, giving different ways to operate the gate. The solar panel is a useful feature for reducing reliance on a direct power source, and the included nylon gear rack is a nice addition. Its listed capacity makes it suitable for larger sliding gates, so it's worth considering for a home or property with a compatible setup.

I’m hoping this lock will keep the gate stable when closed in the wind. Looks like a very well machined lock. Very sturdy. I’m very happy with the quality.

Haven’t installed this yet but it appears to be a perfect solution for me. I needed to install me power supply farther away to get a clear sunny location for my solar panels. This cable should give me plot options.

M12 Automatic Gate Remote Control Transmitter 2 Pack

M12 Automatic Gate Remote Control Transmitter 2 Pack

For 200 bucks it works. I wish they had a better warranty offer.

How I Use It:

I've been using this TOPENS DWC500S solar gate opener for two months at small guest house.

Features that stood out to me:

The solar powered opener works great; and I also really liked the easy install and set-up because it simplifies my day a lot. The remote control is pretty good too; I tend to get more work done.

My Personal Experience:

If I compare this one against the others I've used, this one is just plain better. I wasn't expecting to like the solar powered connection as much as I do. It's works really great. Strong motor and not too loud.

Pros and Cons:

What was good: Price, durability, build quality, low noise, strong gears, solar powered, remote control, easy install and set-up.

What was not good: None

Durability:

After two months, it still does its job the first time every time with no fuss. I can't really ask for more.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, it has been good for me and my needs, and I'd buy it again.

Will definitely recommended!
Great gate opener!

My Topens gate opener has been working great for seven years. I replaced the main circuit board once and the sensor twice, but those are minor repairs mechanically. It’s running strong.

This is my third review of a similar product but this one comes with the capacity to open a gate up to 40ft wide, has a 2600lb capacity and comes with solar panels. If you're a DIY type and wanted an automatic sliding gate opener that comes with both remotes and is app controllable then you'll like this TOPENS DWR1100ST Smart Solar Sliding Gate Opener Rack Drive. It comes with all the hardware needed to setup a rack driven gate (each up to 30 feet wide gate or 2400 lbs). All you need is to just provide the extra wire to hook up to a 120-240V power source or a 24V battery for remote off the grid usage. One note is that this kit comes with only 13 feet of nylon gear racks that fit together therefore you'll only be opening your gate approximately 12 feet with the included gear racks (buy more if you want to open farther).

The app allows you to setup hands free voice commands to open via google assistant or Amazon Alexa. This is excellent if you have your home setup already for voice commands via one of these platforms (I prefer Google Assistant "hey Google" due to it being the free one). The two remotes that are included are also an easy and off grid and non-smart way to open the gate this kit is attached to. The price for a smart gate opener that comes from a name brand that specializes in gate openers is one of the best aspects of this kit and is inexpensive in my opinion. 5 stars all the way.
